One
hundred and thirty years ago there was a pioneer cemetery about three
fourths
of a mile due north of Glenn View Cemetery and located along the south
side of
Collier Road about a quarter mile west of Mackville Road. This was immediately west
of the Justice
School.
It was probably called both the Mackville and or Dog
Town
cemetery and was used by my ancestors as a burial place. Many of the remains buried
there were later
moved to Glen View in the late 1920s.
